Rules and Restrictions

  • Double-check your itinerary to make sure the dates and hours are correct.
  • Double-check that your spelling is correct. Flight passenger names should perfectly match those on government-issued picture ID for domestic travel and those on the passport for overseas travel.
  • After tickets have been issued, no name changes are authorized. Non-refundable and non-transferable tickets are available.
  • Metairfare will not be held liable for any subsequent discrepancies in your booking.
  • All taxes and fees are included in total rates, except for any extra airline fees that could apply, such as luggage, seat assignment, and etc.
  • The aforementioned amount may be charged to your credit card in numerous charges. The fees could be labeled as ARC, Metairfare, or Agent fee.
  • Changes are allowed in compliance with the airline’s rules; nevertheless, there may be change fees and cost fluctuations.
  • Until tickets are booked, fares are prone to revision. Within 3-24 hours of receiving payment, an e-ticket will be delivered to your registered email address.
  • It is the responsibility of all passengers to get the required visas and/or traveling documents for every country they travel or transit through.
  • If your plan contains two separate airline tickets, please read each airline’s terms and conditions carefully, which can be available on their online website. These airlines will be liable to their own limits, rules, and fees. If one of these flights is affected by an airline change (e.g., cancellation or rearrangement), forcing a Customer to alter the other flight, the Customer may be responsible for any fees or ticket costs associated with changing the unaffected flight. Changes, refunds, and exchanges may incur additional charges from these carriers. You must comply with each airline’s rules and conditions, which may vary (for example, check-in hours and luggage size/weight limits).
  • Any flights must be confirmed with the airline right away because schedule changes might happen at any time. Domestic flights must be finally confirmed at least 24 hours ahead of time, and international flights should be reconfirmed at least 48 hours ahead of time.
  • Please be aware that your seats, meals, frequent flier points, and other specific requests are “requests only” and cannot be guaranteed by Metairfare. All inquiries will be forwarded to airlines for processing. Please contact us immediately if you require urgent confirmation of your specific seat or have any special needs, like stretcher or wheelchair assistance.
  • If your credit card is denied while your transaction is being processed, we will contact you as quickly as possible by phone or email. The transaction will be canceled if your credit card is declined. In this scenario, the fare or other booking details are not guaranteed. A fare difference may emerge from selecting the similar or a diverse option, which the client must bear.
  • In the case of an airline schedule change, Metairfare will not be liable for any compensation. Any timetable modifications are communicated to the customer as soon as possible. It’s important to call the airline 48 hours before your travel to confirm your reservation.
  • If you need to amend or cancel your reservation, please contact us 72 hours prior to departure. Any and all itinerary modifications/cancellations are limited and are based on airline fines, fare restrictions, and other related costs, whichever is more restrictive; tickets do not permit for name changes or rerouting once the booking is complete. Changes in dates are contingent on availability.
  • Check-in Criteria for Domestic Travel – When traveling within the country, arriving at the airport two hours before departure is suggested. You must check-in at least 45 minutes before your departure time.
  • Check-in Prerequisites for International Travel – International travelers should be at the airport 3 hours prior to departure. You should arrive at least 60 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time to check in. Regardless of whether or not they have luggage, this is the bare minimum including all customers checking in. Tickets are non-refundable after they have been purchased.
  • Tickets that have been partially/half-used are non-refundable.
  • In the event of a NO SHOW prior to departure, the ticket is worthless.
  • The embassy of the country you are going or transiting through can provide you with reliable international travel information. If you are denied entry or transit into a nation due to a lack of necessary travel documents, METAIRFARE shall not be held accountable.
  • There are two types of schedule changes: minor and major. Any adjustment that merely requires a schedule modification or a flight number modification but causes no inconvenience to the journey is considered a minor change. The wait time must not exceed 6 hours, and the itinerary should not be disrupted. We really have no option but to agree to the modification in such a situation.
  • When there is a change in travel date, flight cancellation with no alternate connection, or itinerary misconnection, they are considered as major schedule changes. In this scenario, the airlines are responsible for providing an alternate legitimate connection or a reimbursement, whichever is appropriate.
  • Travelers may be charged additional fees at the airport if their checked items exceed the weight, size, or number specified in the airline’s usual baggage allowance. Some airlines do not provide any free baggage allowance at all. Baggage allowance regulations and baggage prices for checked or carry-on baggage vary greatly and are subject to change at any time by the carriers.
  • Frequent traveler awards (miles, points, etc.), upgrades, certificate vouchers, and other discounts or incentives may not apply to Metairfare flights, hotel stays, or other travel services. Furthermore, mileage accrual may not apply to all tickets. For further information, please speak with your agent.
  • Please pay close attention to the fare limits on your tickets. If you require greater flexibility with your tickets in terms of refunds and exchanges, please consult your agent and request a less restricted tariff. Airlines offer a wide selection of tickets, including some that allow for changes and refunds with minimum possible penalties. The airlines carefully adhere to their standards and do not accept changes or refunds if the fare limits do not allow it. The constraints on the fares are determined by the airlines, and Metairfare has no authority to overturn these restrictions.
  • Once the tickets are issued, they are subject to fare limits. If the fare regulations enable refunds and/or exchanges, a Metairfare fee will be levied to process any refund and/or exchange request. This cost will be collected in addition to the penalties paid directly by the airline and/or recalled by the airline from Metairfare (recalled commissions).
  • Payment Information: You acknowledge that the payment card you use is yours (the card holder), or that you have the right to use the payment card if it is not yours. Metairfare employs strong security precautions while accepting credit card payments. All major credit cards are accepted, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club, and Discover. Credit card transactions are authorized when you or someone acting on your behalf accepts these Terms & Conditions and completes the purchase. All credit cards must have a verifiable billing address in the EU, US, Canada, UK, Australia, Singapore, or another country.
Transaction fees are levied by some banks and credit cards. Your bank may charge you a conversion fee if the payment amount is converted to your local currency. This implies that the amount shown on your credit or bank card statement may be in your local currency and hence differ from the amount indicated on the billing summary page for a reservation booked on the Website. Furthermore, if the bank that issued your credit card is not situated in the EU, the United States, or Canada, you may be charged a foreign transaction fee.
Because Metairfare may pass on your payment to an international travel supplier, booking foreign travel may be considered an international transaction by your bank or credit card company. Your bank determines the currency conversion rate and the foreign transaction fee on the day the transaction is processed. Please contact your bank if you have any issues regarding these fees or the exchange rate used for your booking.
